U.S. Civil surgeons conduct this crucial examination authorized by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). What should I bring to my immigration physical exam?

According to the USCIS, you need to bring the following items to your immigration medical exam in Miami: Form I-693 (Report of Medical Examination and Vaccination Record) Government-issued photo identification, such as a valid passport or driver’s license. If you need an exam for someone 14 years old or younger, bring identification that shows their name, date and place of birth and parent’s full name. Possible forms of identification include your birth certificate (with an English translation if applicable) or an affidavit. Vaccination or immunization record (such as DT, DTP, DTaP, Td, Tdap, OPV, IPV, MMR, Hib, hepatitis A, hepatitis B, varicella, pneumococcal influenza, rotavirus and meningococcal disease, and COVID-19) Health insurance card if you have one Payment for the exam

An immigration medical exam in Miami can take a couple of hours. It will include a physical exam, chest x-ray and lab work.

What lab work will I need?

You will need a blood sample to be tested for syphilis. Possibly more.

Will I receive vaccinations during my immigration exam?

Yes. You need the following vaccinations to be eligible for a green card in the United States: COVID-19 Hepatitis A Hepatitis B Influenza Influenza type b (Hib) Measles Meningococcal Mumps Pneumococcal Pertussis Polio Rotavirus Rubella Tetanus and diphtheria toxoids Varicella If you are missing any of the above vaccines, Dr. Rachael can create a plan for updating your immunization and administer those vaccines during your immigration medical exam in Miami.
